Dove Real Beauty Contest

Dove has always been a part of my life. I remember growing up that it was always my mothers bar soap of choice. It has frequently been my choice as well. Dove has become an old reliable for me. I may try other brands but I always return to Dove.
Over the last few years Dove has been highlighting their products while doing a public service to women and young girls worldwide with their Real Beauty campaign. If you haven’t heard of it, here are two short videos to get you started:

In honor of Dove’s Real Beauty campaign I’m having a contest for a Dove Goodie Box filled with some of my favorite Dove Products. The box includes:

  • 1 Dove Ultra Clear Radiant Silk Anti-Perspirant 45g – full size
  • 1 Dove Cream Oil Body Wash, jasmine and vanilla scent 295ml – full size
  • 1 Dove Pro-age Beauty Bar with moisturizing cream and olive oil 120 g – full size
  • 1 Dove Go Fresh Therapy Shampoo 50ml – sample size
  • 1 Dove Go Fresh Therapy Conditioner 50ml – sample size
  • 2 Dove Go Fresh Cool Moisture Beauty Bars 90g each – full size
  • 1 Dove Cream Oil Intensive Body Lotion 250ml – full size (not in photo)

How do you win the Dove goodie box? Easy peasy. Leave a comment reply for this post letting us know one thing you love about yourself.
The winner will be chosen at random, using random.org, on February 12th, 2009 (two weeks from today) at 3 pm EST. The Dove goodies are sponsored by moi and will be shipped by moi. This contest is open to United States and Canadian residents.
Good luck!

UPDATE: The winner was announced in the comments below. Congratulations to Heather H. of CT.

I love about myself? I love that I inherited generosity from my Aunt Margaret and Aunt Karen. There is nothing I love more than stumbling through the door of my nieces’ and nephews’ homes, hauling in a mega-bag full of presents. Seeing a kid’s face light up is the most wondrous sight on this planet. When I love somebody, I see approximately 2,938,473,923,847 things I’d love to get them for their birthday or Christmas gift.

Tolerance
"No matter in what situations we find ourselves, when we don’t have so many opinions and preferences we naturally experience more peace of mind. We feel more agreeable, more comfortable, and more able to fit in with others. When we are more tolerant, not only do our minds’ stability and experience of meditation improve, but the conduct of our body, speech, and mind also improves because we stop being so reactive."
