Velma Costume
A few years ago a woman came to our door dressed up as Velma (her child was dressed as Scooby-Doo). I have yet to see the costume in stores. It was something she put together herself. 
The traditional Velma costume is:
- Dark Rim Glasses
- Orange Turtleneck
- Red Pleated Skirt
- Orange Socks
- Red Shoes
- Bob
Do you know how hard it is to find an orange(ish) cowl neck top and red pleated skirt? Well, let me tell you, it is very hard! But today when I was at LaneBryant I saw a reddish orange cowl neck dress that I think would still work perfectly for a Velma costume if there accessories are in place.
All you would need is the orange tights (We Love Colors), the black bob wig (Buy Costumes), and the black shoes. You should be able to find some dollar store black rim glasses.
