One of my pet peeves this summer was bra straps. It seemed like no matter what top I was wearing my bra straps were giving me a hard time by peeking out inappropriately. I gave myself a mission. An eBay mission, because I love a good eBay mission, to find some kind of bra strap retraining device to keep my bra straps in line. And I was quite successful if I do say so myself.
I found two products. The first was the Bra Strap Adjust Control Clip (right) which shipped from Hong Kong worldwide. The cost? $.99 cents and free shipping. Couldn’t go wrong with that even if it sucked. Considering it came from Hong Kong it arrived pretty quickly in a small envelope with no packaging or instructions. The bra clip was sealed in a little plastic bag and looked the opposite of this image in design (more wide than tall).
It works but I neither threw out my upper back trying to adjust it on my bra. Definitely easier if someone helps. The downside to this bra clip is there is no control of the pull (unless you adjust your bra strap length which I don’t like to do) and I felt pulled the whole time I was wearing it. While I want my bra straps to cooperate I also want to maintain some comfort. It works in a pinch but I wouldn’t recommend this bra clip unless you’re on an extreme budget. I took a quick look and the vendor who offered this item doesn’t have anymore listed but there were other eBay vendors who do.
The second product was a package of Braza Clear Silicone Bra Straps. It arrived in a puff package and the product was in it’s original packaging for continued storage with image directions on use. It included 4 straps: 1 clear happy strap for cinching straps together, 1 clear halter strap, and 2 clear bra strap replacements. I had the choice of regular or wide straps. Since I’m plus size I went with wide. The Braza Bra Straps cost $10.95 plus $4 for shipping (from Washington) and was by far the better purchase. Of all the straps the happy strap is my favorite as it achieved my goal the most by cinching my straps in the back into a kind of racer back look. The good thing about the happy strap, unlike the previous product is that it is adjustable to the necessary pull making it completely comfortable. I highly recommend this product and the seller who provided quick delivery and feedback. At the time of this post she still had a number of the Braza Bra Straps in both sizes for sale.

I hated the contraption I tried that was similar to the strap perfect – I could not get it on myself and it was very awkward with my (very) full size bust. Thanks for the info on the other option!
