Back to School Bags

Normally, every year as it gets closer to Christmas I bring up Baggu bags and how they make great gifts as well as great packaging for gifts. But they have expanded their line so much over the last few years I just had to mention them sooner and “back to school” really did seem like the best time. Here are my favorite bags and uses that make them perfect for back to school:
Big Baggu is perfect for all that back to school shopping you are going to be doing. It is my go to bag when I go paper towel and bathroom tissue shopping because of the volume it holds. If the bag is not too full I can even sling it over my shoulder. It would be perfect for college students to bring home their dirty laundry on the weekend! This $12 bag comes in 13 colors.

Baby Baggu makes an adorable lunch bag if you don’t have perishables but otherwise I love to keep it in my handbag for the little buys at the drug store — lipstick, nail polish, tampons etc. This $6 bag comes in 16 colors.

BAGGU X5 is a combo pack of the original Baggu reusable shopping bag. It includes five bags of coordinating colors (four to choose from) and a little zipper bag to keep them all contained for $35. Perfect for the eco-friendly student who will have to do their own grocery shopping!

The Duck Bag is made from recycled cotton canvas and has a little more substance than the nylon bags. It has a double short handle to carry by hand and an over the shoulder (or across the chest) adjustable handle. It fits a large laptop or a few large books. Throw in a purse divider and it is your new handbag. This $22 bag comes in nine colors (there is also a hand dyed version of five colors).

And finally there is the Backpack. The main bag that kids carry their school accessories in. It also makes a great every day bag. It is made from 100% recycled cotton duck, has a front pocket, interior drawstring closure, with snap and buckle on outer flap and of course there are adjustable shoulder straps. This $32 backpack comes in nine basic colors and five tye dyed colors.

Stop Biting the Tail You’re Chasing

Tolerance
"No matter in what situations we find ourselves, when we don’t have so many opinions and preferences we naturally experience more peace of mind. We feel more agreeable, more comfortable, and more able to fit in with others. When we are more tolerant, not only do our minds’ stability and experience of meditation improve, but the conduct of our body, speech, and mind also improves because we stop being so reactive."
