It Takes More than Genes to Be Beautiful
My Foundation: Depending on the time of year and humidity I either use Loreal’s Infallible or Loreal’s True Match but I prefer powder. For the last few months I have been experimenting with BB cream and so far I am loving Garnier’s version over the Loreal version which I hate. I have some Maybelline Dream Cream to try but have not had the chance yet.
My Mascara: Maybelline (black/brown) – I try others but I always come back to it. It is affordable and it does not start clumping in a week. I am partial to the pink and green tube. L’Oreal has a great “telescopic” mascara that I have been using and so far is promising.
My Blush: Mary Kay and a Clinique sample if I bother.
My Eye Shadow: Avon, E.L.F., Clinique and Jane Iredale. I have a few sticks of Rimmel too. For some reason I cannot wear Cover Girl eye shadow as it always seems to make my eyes water and burn especially their creams.
My Day Cream: Yonka for sensitive skin but I am trying out Garnier’s Moisture line because I love their BB cream so much.
My Lipstick: Cover Girl Tru Match, Clinique’s sheer pink, and I have some new reds from Julep I am looking forward to trying.
My Essential Beauty Product: Yonka’s milk cleanser which also doubles as an eye make-up remover. I love this stuff. Super gentle, light scent and easy to use.
My Favorite Makeup Product: Du Wop Lip Gloss and Garnier’s BB Cream.
My Perfume: Clinique’s Happy. I have tried a few others over the last few year but I am back with Happy… probably for life.
My Nails: Tips solution by Ask Cosmetics for conditioning. It is amazing!
My Feet: Vaseline baby!
My Hands: Lush’s Smitten or Aveeno sensitive.
Three Products to bring on a deserted island: Vaseline, sunscreen and my lipstick (I do not do Chapstick).
Woman I admire for her beauty: Isabella Rossellini (and Diane Lane).
Woman with the Best Sense of Style: Oprah Winfrey, she can afford it.
What does beauty mean?: Being comfortable in your own skin.
My Favorite Fashion Publication: It used to be Vogue. Now it is the Internet.
