It’s August 26th. You know what that means? I didn’t either… but it is apparently National Toilet Paper Day (in the US)!
I don’t know about you but we cannot go a day without thinking about toilet paper. Either for the daily business or because someone has forgotten to reload the holder. Considering how much a part of our lives toilet paper is, it kind of makes sense to have a day to celebrate it. I mean, can you imagine life without it? In the “good ole days” newsprint was often the only option we had. Now that I’m are older, my delicate behind likes the thick stuff by Cottonelle.
Unfortunately, RV toilet systems do not like the thick stuff so we have had to resort to speciality toilet paper. RV paper is rougher, thinner, and smells funny (apparently I am the only one in the trailer that thinks it smells funny). More importantly it breaks down in water waste so as not to block sensors and clog up the system. It also makes it easier to flush the tank when it comes time to dump our load.
Whether you are at home or in an RV, or at home in an RV, I hope you have a lovely National Toilet Paper Day and are able to appreciate all it does for you.
